Sam Andreadis
About Me
Sam is a qualified integrative counsellor (Psychodynamic and Humanistic), and a Craniosacral therapist (CST). She has worked in NHS short-term counselling, domestic violence, and Place2Be (schools), addiction centres, and a full time outpatient clinic.
Psychotherapy combined with CST is the essence of BodyMind Therapy in which Sam specialises; allowing her to support both the verbal, cognitive and physiological processes many clients need to explore during deeply reparative relational, emotional and physical therapy.
Clients always have the choice with this full BodyMind perspective: some choose body work over talking therapy; others undertake talking therapy alone. But most clients combine the two in a 90 minute session, of 50 minutes counselling and 40 minutes CST, for a complete sense of integration that addresses the influence of the Central Nervous System, Trauma, Body & Experience in the way we think and feel.
Sam undertakes exstensive professional development and uses Polyvagal Theory and Mindfulness to help you access both understanding and embodied responses to your situation.
Whatever your reason for coming, Sam provides both the time and the safe confidential space to be heard. The approach is to look at you as a social, communal, physical and psychological being.
